Enerz designed and implemented a complete energy system modernisation for an office building in Helsinki. The building services engineering of the property underwent a complete transformation, including upgrading the heating system, ventilation units and upgrading building automation for the 2020s. At the same time, a zone-specific ventilation system was installed, which ensures optimal ventilation for the users and enables accurate indoor air analysis.

There was also a server room in the building, which produced a significant amount of waste heat. We built an energy recycling system that allows us to use waste heat to heat the building. According to Enerz's calculations, the return on investment is more than 20 percent and life cycle savings will rise to EUR 2.8-3.5 million. The carbon footprint of a building's energy consumption is reduced by 65%.
